Rice Week
As one of the country’s top distributors of rice, we love a good National Rice Week get-together (socially distanced, of course).
The sun was out and the rice was flowing as we welcomed several esteemed guests for our international rice tasting event featuring Aunty Debi’s Nigerian style Jollof Rice, Chef Gayle’s Jamaican Style Rice & Peas and Rajan Caterers’ Indian style pulao rice, all made with one of our most popular rice products: Tropical Sun USA Easy Cook Rice.
Joining our staff were USA Rice’s Dee Casey and local councillors Christine Hamilton: Deputy Mayor for Enfield, Kate Anolue: Former Mayor of Enfield and Sanchia Alasia: Former Mayor of Barking & Dagenham. The councillors seemed truly impressed with the versatility of the rice, commenting how different each dish was to the next. We look forward to working closely with our local councillors and welcoming them back to Wanis in the near future.
